I shot for Alternative Apparel’s second edition of Alternative Grants with winner Aaron Rowley and his vision of creating clothing with a 3D printer.
Being a photographer in San Francisco means that you end up going to many startups and yet a tiny percentage of them actually feel like they are just starting up.
That being said it was really refreshing and amazing to photograph Aaron Rowley and his team whom are actually starting up their vision with Electroloom. Their mission to be able to create fabric and/or clothing from a 3D printer will open design to a much broader array of people and the cost of making attire can also go down.
Meeting these people right as they take their first baby steps towards an amazing goal is something I live for.
